Hi, I’m Tammy. I live in the beautiful World Heritage listed Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia.
I grew up in a small town of Fukuoka prefecture in southern Japan where I spent most of my childhood. I appreciate being able to feel and witness seasonal transitions in nature.
I love the fresh scent of trees and flowers as it brings me back to my childhood.
My family says I’m too emotional. I feel joy, happiness and sadness from what I see, smell, taste, touch and hear.
I wasn’t sure what to do with my occasional “uncontrollable” emotions, but I discovered how to express it by visualising it through design.
Hopefully, my designs can put a big smile on your face and just to imagine that, I feel so happy and privileged.

I also enjoy looking after flowers and plants and transforming my garden into a place I can be happy.
In my view, both gardening and designing involve creating and shaping something my family and I can enjoy.
